Raising money for mission trip to Japan
Dear friends and family,
This summer I am looking into an opportunity to attending S.O.S. (Summer of Service) Japan in June. It is a one month mission trip and missions training program for young adults through the Calvary Bible Institute in Japan. It’s in Okinawa (where I have previously attended Bible college) and the trip’s goal is to teach young adults about missions and ministry through on-the-field missionary work and training. You can see more info here: https://www.cbij.org/summer-of-service.html
Since I am currently a student I am looking for support and to raise funds for this trip - anything helps. I am not asking for anyone who is not financially able or doesn’t feel called. I would love your prayer and whatever support you feel called to give.
I am doing fundraising through one of my gifts: art! I am looking to do paint night classes for those who are local.
I am also offering 5x7 inch original watercolor post cards for $25 that can be shipped out by mail (for those who are local or not). These are original paintings by me, and if you would like one you can select one of 5 categories:
1. Dogs
2. Cats
3. Plants & nature scenery
4. Other animals (besides dogs and cats, includes butterflies, moths, birds, frogs, foxes, etc.)
5. Fantasy & Whimsical (dragons, fairies, mythical creatures, glowing potion bottles etc)
You will receive one unique artwork at random from the category you choose (some will be premade, some may be made with recipient in mind, but do not expect it to be), you can also choose for it to be from a random category.
For more info read down below!

Details on the trip:
Where: Okinawa, Japan
When: The whole month of June
Goal: “Our Summer Missions Training Program for Young adults is organized by CBI Japan & Calvary Chapel Ginowan in Okinawa. We create missions focused summer programs for Young Adults from all over the world to come serve in Okinawa Japan, where we teach missions principles, practical service and have lots of fun exploring and creating Christian fellowship culture.” - S.O.S. Japan website. I would also continue to learn Japanese and help further the Gospel in Japan.
Of course, if you feel like supporting me in any other ways, please reach out! I am super grateful for any support and prayers. I will post updates on my (private) Instagram and Facebook, but if you’d like to receive a couple updates by email, let me know!
